Kate Garry Hudson (natural April 19, 1979) is an American actress. Natural inside Los Angeles, California of Italian and Jewish descent, she is the daughter of actress Goldie Hawn and musician Bill Hudson, and sister of actor Oliver Hudson. Her breakthrough role wwhen as Penny Lane inside Cameron Crowe's Almost Famous (2000), for which she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. (A role was according to a life of Bebe Buell.)

She is married to Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson. In January 7, 2004, she gave birth to their son, Ryder Russell Robinson. Kate is left.
